The one day the nation stops and remembers
To all our global visitors that visit our blog. This day is one of Australia’s most significant days that stops the nation. No shops or sporting events can be conducted before 1pm. People march proudly to remember family members.
Mrs Joyce’s grandfather battled at Kokoda and that same track was where her friend was heading to walk when she was taken suddenly by a plane crash several years ago. Today two other friends have just completed the gruelling walk of the Kokoda Track. Alf and Liv you make us so proud.
LEST WE FORGET
Hello Joyce,
Thank you so much for this great post. Its time for us to come together as one and build a better world than to fight with other nations.
Together we stand departed we fall.

Jake, Its really great that you marched and were on T.V. You know, if you marched it shows that you care for everyone that participated and fought for our country. Those souls would be proud! 😀
