100wc Week #11
Here in the UK and in other parts of the world we are commemorating those who lost their lives in war. Our remembrance day is 11th Nov and I know those of you in other parts of the world also have such events.
I also know that not all of you have an annual event like this so the prompt this week is:
…Remembering….
You can use your 100 words to write about any subject with this topic. Please make sure you stick to the prompt. We have had some entries that are nothing to do with the prompt that week. Please also make sure you post your best work and if you link you do it properly. Many of you are missing comments because Team 100 cannot get into your posts.
The link will close on 16th November
This is my 100 word challenge
Standing for a minute in silence. It’s all to remember the people who were in the wars. It’s an emotional time for all especially for the families who lost someone in the war. They have lost a family member; sometimes it’s not always just one. Some have lost many. I was one of the lucky ones. I was not sent to war, but I lost my brother. He was one of the closest people to me. He was bright and happy; until he opened the letter he lost his joy and his smile. I was in tears for days when I heard he had passed. This day my family and I use it for remembering my brother.
