Asian Architecture – Look to Learn
Countries like Qatar is trying to make it more modern like other countries.
Japans house walls are made from paper and easy to jump throught and it is not water proof.
In Qatah there are very unusal buildings like a rollercoster that ‘s made out of bricks and marbe? And i think thats very cool.
How can China be the richest and poorest country in the world?
I learnt that Asia is bigger than I thought?
I want to learn why dose Jordan have house so close together.
i want to learn why Jordan has not many modern buildings.
What we know about Asian Architecture/ We know that Asian disighns to buildings are much more different to Australian disighns.
We know that Australian metirials are much more stronger and stiff than Asian metirials.
What more do we want to learn/
How long does it take to build a Asian sky sraper or building?
What is the biggest building or sky scraper in Thailand?
What is somethig new you learned by looking closely at these imagies/
Buildings in Thailand can be created in different shapes, sizes and disighns.
The whole Taj Mahal is made of marble.
Most village homes are made of mud, hay and straw.
What do you already know about Asian Architecture?
Bhavica:The Buildings there are very Mordern and the roofs are differrent to eachother and they are made out of different materials like hay and brick.
Vanessa: There houses/huts are made out of things likemud, and roofs are made out of things like hay and they have curved rooves. Some is made out of bamboo and wood out of trees. These huts are not moderen like ones in China and Japan.
What more would you want to learn?
Bhavica: I want to know if Asia is a poor country and if thier population is really big like Australia.
Vanessa: I want to learn how they build some of there tranditonial huts , i want to learn about chinese buildings. And what some buildings mean. Where do they get ideas from there buildings?
What is something new you learned by looking closely at these images?
Bhavica: Some buildings are in different shapes and sises and in some parts in Asia the buildings are very Modern and some are not new at all. They are made in different ways.
Vanessa: Buildings are very modern now these days and all buildings kind of represent a country. Like if you looked at a temple you would automaticaly think of India. We are making now expensive buildings, well more expensive and being mire creative.
What do you already know about Asia Architecture?
I know that Asia is the richest country in the world. Asia has a super big population. The rich people are really rich that when you look at Asia it don’t look poor at all. the roofs are very monndn and they are curved. I think that they arew very unually. I know that Asia has more population than Austualisa.
What more would you want to leared?
I want to learn how can Asia be the richest and the poorst at the same time. I want to know how many countrys are in Asia. I want to know what kind of materials they use to buil the house.
What is something new you learned by looking closely at these images.
I learned that in Asia they are diffent shapes and size of buildings. Alot of there buildings are very modern and some are really old. I learned that most house from the village are made of mad,hay,and straw.
