Each week 5/6j meet with their prep buddies to peer tutor them about learning. Today we are reading Emily Gravatts picture story book “Big Book of Fears”. The 5/6 students have to find out what their buddy fears. Today we are going to learn about big words that fit under the category of phobias. I wonder what phobias we will hear about today?

Today you will need to conference with your buddy and find out their fears. Take an A3 piece of paper and prepare a poster to share with us your phobias. She if you can trick us.
Dear Mrs Joyce,
When we read this book about phobias it was really interesting how My Prep buddy Lydia and I found out what our fears were! It is weird how I am scared of moths but that is sometimes the way it goes! Lydia was scared of spiders and I obviously understood that she was! I liked it how the book was being chewed buy the mouse on every page in the book! That gave it a great effect!
