We say G’day to our new schools by sending them a Welcome Pack.
5/6J I would like you to start bringing to school anything you would like to send to Kabale. I thought I would get you to help me with this welcome pack. Future Generation are our new friends and we need to send them a Kanga. Where am I going to get one???
Here are photos of our new Global School and Ms Joseline tells us a little about the images.
The school has just started. These twin babies move together, eat together and sleep together at Future generational Nursery and Primary School. One has been sick but the other one ended up being psychologically affected. They are two and a half year old. It is going to be hard for the teachers to separate them. They are hard working and playful. It would be good news to them if they can get some one kind to sponsor their education.
Wow we have a new school but sorry Mrs Joyce I don’t know where to find one but hopefully I can find out. Hmm what are we going to give to our new school?
How often does the children go to school?
Stephanie, Thanks for the question, children go school from Monday to Friday but absenteeism is very high in schools.
Dear Joseline,
I can make a connection to what you have said. in our classroom we are doing inquiry. We watched a video on a little girl doing the long walk and she was getting bad education because she’s missing school. But now others were helping her village so now she’s getting by education, she knows how to read and write now. About half of Australia wastes water because they don’t know how lucky we are to have water. I’m so Disappointed and and I feel like I’ve let someone down. I hope you and your school can be in contact soon!
Dear Jaymes, thank for the concern our dream is to have clean water at school but we don’t when ans how will able to achieve our dream, only God knows. Well walking long distance to collect water affects children and their performance at school as they have to fetch water in the morning before going to school and after school. We look forward to be in contact with all of you there.
What do you drink when is not raining at all? Do like to live in your country’s? How many people die every day from desises? Do you children love school because I love school? How long it takes to do the long walk?
Karim, i am happy to answer your questions. When it is not raining get water is so difficult and we walk long distance to find water springs. We a like my country despite many problems we are facing . Uganda is ever green throughout the year and is referred to as the pearl of Africa because of it diverse tourist attractions. So many people die especially children every day due to malnutrition and water borne diseases. HIV?AIDS scourge had claimed so many people thus so many orphans and needy children as a result. My children love school especially when they put on school uniform and shoes. It takes 2 and more kms to do the long walk to fetch water.
Ms Joseline, we would gladly connect with your children at your school! We would love to make new friends with you, and you’re students.
Here are a few questions, hopefully you may answer them!!
~ Where are you in Uganda?
~ How many students do you have at your terrific school?
~ Do you have any other global connections around the world?
Hi Anneliese, i am happy about the connection that is going to happen between you and my school. But it is unfortunate that my school is very rural, student have no knowledge about the computer and internet. My school is located in Ikimba Sub county, Kabale District South Western Uganda and i have more than 90 students as the school is five month old. We have no any other global connection around the world. Had it not be due to tireless efforts of your teacher Bronwyn, we would have not known you. Thumbs up to her and she is the role model for me and my school
Hi do the the children come to school everyday? We have to go to school from Monday to Sunday.
Rename I think they might miss school maybe it really depends if they have to collect water in the morning.
Rename, thanks again for the your question, i love to read from you. The school days are from Monday to Friday that is five days in a week.
It is obvious that many children miss school because the time for fetching for school children is morning before class and the evening after class.
.Thanks Rename for the question and here is the answer The school days are from Monday to Friday that is five days in a week. Children miss school while other come when they are tied after they have come from etching water for their families
Wow,
I can’t belive how identicle those twins are! I think they are more alike than me and liam! That is REALLY weird! But on the other hand I feel sorry for those twins because the dieases they both sounded very suvier!
