THANK A TEACHER: THANK YOU MR FELIX
5/6J I met Mr Felix in person on Skype. I heard about his inspiring story about how vital it is for global connections and to help all our students be Global Citizens. He was just as lovely in person as he is via email.
AND I was also so very lucky to meet Martin who is one of the students who regularly comments on our blog. Together with Mr Felix and all our Global Teachers we will continue to connect our students with the world. Tonight talking to Mr Felix made me so very proud to be a teacher and so very lucky to have friends who I can talk to and share wonderful learning experiences.

Ashton………..I am really glad to be working with you guys and Mrs. Joyce, finally in life I was able to Skype with Mrs. Joyce yesterday with Martin one of my grade 8 students and I was really glad to meet Mrs. Joyce on Skype and to share with her some of my ideas and also to learn from her as well.
I was so excited to meet her and I can not wait to meet you guys as well because you are mean a lot to me and I hope very soon we will Skype and see each other and learn from ourselves.
I am really proud of you all and thank you for giving the opportunity to learn and share with you about what I have.
Mrs Joyce I can’t believe that you skyped Mr Felix. That must of been exiting. You got to meet him in person well not exactly. Martin sounds like a very enthusiastic student. I will try to keep updated on who comments on our blog. Imagine how Mr Felix felt meeting and seeing Mrs Joyce for the very first time and talking over. Chantell just asked me why is it such a big deal that you skyped Mr Felix. I am like because he has never seen Mes Joyce and because they have never meet face to face.
And he is in Ghana – the other side of the world. I have just been talking with a teacher who started her own school in Ugabda. We are going to help her set up a blog to connect her school. This is amazing. With Chantell not in our grade she may not understand the significant this is world and life changing stuff to be connect to us especially for schools in Africa. Keep up the great work Rennae, I am so proud of all the work you and Heidie do and how you are always encouraging others in our grade 😃
And because of that. If Chantell was in our grade she would understand the significance this world and life changing this happen around the world. I can’t wait to get connected with that school. I think it will be a great opportunity for them to learn about the global world.
