Shan Shan and Tom arrive at Oakura Beach

On the 26th December 2012 Shan Shan and Tom were packed and ready to leave for the Airport. Mrs Joyce couldn’t take any photos because they were packed in the case for their protection. The flight was 3.5 hours but the plane was 30 minutes delayed and we didn’t fly out of Australia until 12.15am 27th December. With a 2 hour time difference the plane landed at 5.45am New Zealand time and our journey of 4 hours began. We collected the car and the 5 hour our drive to Oakura Beach began. Everyone was tired and grumpy. Finally we arrived and Shan Shan and Tom were much more relaxed.
