Africa 2012
Liv Blackwood is an inspirational girl who has not long returned from visiting Uganda as part of a mentor program to help young females attend school and access the best education they can.
Please read and leave an inspiring comment to Liv for all her great work. To the new students of 5/6J and the Liddiard RD Senior Unit, I have my fingers crossed Liv will pass our name on to her friend Beatrice and we can help Liv by sending letters to children in the villages to practice their reading and writing. Thank you Liv and welcome to our global classroom.
Take a look at the grade watching the video.
Liv you are amzing that vidio nearly brought me to tears and Ifeel sosad for Africa with the diases. Ithink you made Africas life easier and you would have to make Africa abetter place.

Olivia, that was the most heart warming thing ever. Seeing that you help young girls who struggled getting to school, who struggled even attending school, was beautiful.
Seeing their smiles on their face and seeing how happy they were was amazing because we know that they are smiling for education.
Liv. when I saw your video I almost cried. I felt so touched that you went to Africa despite knowing about aids to help these kids go to school. You went out of your way to help them. You helped them get an education. You made their life infinitly better. I feel so inspired.
You helped them get an education when no one else did. I feel like crying. You have inspired me to help all of the children in Africa to get a better education. For what you have done for these kids I applaude you. And I also thank you for all you have done. Keep doind what you are doind and you will make this world a better place.
God bless you.
I loved hearing Sebinas story because it tells you how inspirational you are and how much you impact on their lives.
I would like to ask you a few questions; What made you go to Uganda?
What made you think about mentoring young girls? How has it impacted your live now knowing you’ve impacted on others?
Where else would you like to mentor in the world?
To Liv that was very touching of you.You are helping others to make them feel better to have a better life a good education .I hope you help others and do the same thing around the world so others can get a better life.
I think that Liv has helped many people and that she deserves a medal of honour. She has been extremely kind to these poor people and helped them. She has probably saved lives, even if it doesn’t seem like it. All of these people deserve a second chance and Liv has given them it. I hope that other people have been inspiired by this and have gone to help the people in need.
this video was insiring i think you made there lives so much better for the girl who had to walk 15 km that is amazing until you came and made her life much more better.
To Liv when i was waching your viedo i was amazed on how you and other people can live like that what I would like to know is how did that happen to you? When I was waching the viedo i was upset and happy. I was happy because on how maney people you have help and made them your friends and how you help them to get school uniform for the schools and i was upset because I don’t know how some one can live like that and that has made a lot of people lives change because of how great you are and how respectful you are of them. To me you look like a god or a hero. When i wach your video I was crying of joy because you have change the way this people have learn in school.
From Talia.
Liv saved peoples lives and I think she’s amazing. She helps people like whena girl used to walk 15km just to walk to school and now she got boarded toa school.
Amazing i cant believe it, she is so deturmend to help. this shows that what every you put your mind to you can do. The powerful, over welming insperation has got to all of us, warming up our hearts and wanting to help the world become a better place. I hope the world finds a cure in the mistical world, that holeds so many secrets. I love how with their help they can now go to schools and get a better educations. I swear that there was a tear in my eye of the sad emostional clip, if this goes on and on and we cant help, will be heart breaking, but thanks to those who helped.
Hey Liv I really find you inspiring because you want to make a difference in the world I really would like to do the same but I want to stop bullying I really despise bullys that are just all mean. I really look up to you for doing this, when the person said she has to walk 15Km to school I started thinking about what I have she has to walk 15Km to school, my dad drives me to school and that just shows how much that they dont have so I feel very sorry for them I hope this changes so everyone can have a good education.
Wow Olivia, you have really helped those girls with there education. I think that the thing that you have done for those girls is the most helpful thing that I have ever heard someone do. It is important that the girls have some sort of education in there lives and that it would really help them get along with all the others and get a home if they don’t have homes.
This video is very insperational especially what the people are saying, and the song telling the mentors top be carefull is just wonderfull they are being open and telling, them they have a disease in their country, and the songs that where put on the video are some of the most inspirational songs I know, I would really apreciate it if I was able to send letters to Olivier and her freinds in Uganda.
Dear Olivia
Wow its so amazing what one qroup of people can help others in need! It is very helpful that you can help others. You have inspired me to think about how I can help.

Just watching that to me I really want to come and help. That was a heart warming moment for me I have never thought of doing anything like that to help others around the world. The clip brings tears to my eyes seeing you there helping them. At the start of the clip they were warning you about their family killing deasease so that you don’t catch the desease.I loved hearing Sebinas story because it tells you how inspirational you are and how much you impact on their lives.
I would like to ask you a few questions; What made you go to Uganda?
What made you think about mentoring young girls? Seeing that you help young girls who struggled getting to school, who struggled even attending school, was beautiful.
Seeing their smiles on their face and seeing how happy they were was amazing because we know that they are smiling for education.

The video was very touching to see the great big family be so happy and loving and to invite you in to their village and to love and appreciate like a sister or a family member.
She’s helping a village that needs the most help they can get which is great for them.
This video was amazing and heart warming. I was almost crying. It is so sad to hear that people young and old are dying from Aides. I hope that sometime in the future doctors will come up with a cure for aides. The mentoring is a great idea for these students that need a help in their education. Great work Liv! 😀

Same here. Liv you are the most insperational girl I’ve met. Thank you for helping those in need of help. You are very caring of others. I would love to be like you but I have other things that I want to do and be when I’m older like being a horse riding teacher, a vet, a disigner or a pet fashion designer. I’m going to pick a pets fashion designer.
I was so glad that I have met Liv
This video is wonderful. It looks like all of you had alot of nice things to say about Liv.
Learning is good for your education other wise you won`t get a good job
he viddeo nearly made me cry because most of those girls go no help at all to go to school but when you helped them it was just so amazing for those girls to have as much help as they wanted and they are so lucky to have someone to help them with there school problems and you have helped those girls that have had so much troble with there school fees and without your help they would have no education.
The video all most made me cry because it was so heart touching.
Its really amazing and inspiring that Olivia ( the maker of this video) inspired a whole unit with her amazing video about being mentor in Uganda. Thank you Liv.
This video is so inspirational. What Olivia has done for the people in Uganda is so amazing. This video touched my <3 and I started to cry. Before this video I wouldn't of even think of being a mentor but now I would love to be a mentor and help the people in other countries.
Wow. Your last year students worked pretty hard. This is such an ispirational story and also beautiful. Helping other people is always the way to go! 😛
