Today 5/6J worked closely on the debatable topic of Censorship in China – Faceblocking as it is known to be called. They watched the media clip and came up with a group of questions that they would like to clarify about the topic. The most confusing thing was why google was blocked earlier this year. China now has Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google just to name a few of the big sites blocked in China. There is many debatable opinions on blocking or not, many issues the class will follow through further to find out. Here are imagines of the class recording their thinking.

Today I felt so happy it was the bestest day ever and writing that seed was so good becuse I could just release all my thoughs and ideas and I am produsing a full page seed about Censorship in china
My feelings about this video:
I feel a bit happy and abit confused because I know that the govement is trying to make their country safe but they have to take a chance and see how they go because google is not bad like not used for bad thing it’s only a better way to get a better answer but maybe they are not wanting them to know what is happening around the world.
I’m confused that how many they have blocked. I think they have gone abit overboard I know why facebook is band but twitter, Google and Youtube so for starters twitter is used to follow people and post what you like. Google is for searching for better websites and Youtube is your searching for music and to show your talenets just like Justin Beiber he became famous but I think he has wasted it’s just my opinion.
Thank you for reading.
My suggestion is that they should make up a Facebook and ultranet mixed together for kids like me and teens ONLY, so it can be much more safer fun for kids and teens! =P
I wonder if they are evergoing to unblock some of them like Youtube and Google and maybe people would be alot happyer but maybe after facebook was band people have been active and not been suck on the computer. some maybe thats why they have block it so people arnt sick and unhealthy and it would make them go to restuarants and buy more and that will help the country or city so it works ether way.
I wonder if they are going to make new websites that every one can use and it is up to the stanteds of china.
The thing that caught my eye wasthat people could not commucate to their family or love onesand if i was in the shoes I would feel scared and make all my days miserable because I couldn’t see how they were going and if any thing exicted happend eg: Mum is having a baby I wouldnt of none that so if I wanted
This is contuned from I wonder
I would try and find another program or app and maybe cost will come in too and so you would have to tell your family that app some how because nothing you can use to communcate and maybe the app or program is only for in china so the choose you could make is to fly over but that cost to and remember the way back too so that is double and this might happen to most people because they relie(spell) on Facebook
I’m sorry I didn’t have as much Opinion but I added Questions too
My Opinion is that their are not taking any chances with websites
1.Who was the one who brought it up first ?
2.How do they communicate now ?
3.Where are they going to get there information from now ?
4.do any of the goverment use Facebook, Tiwtter, Youtube and google and not letting the citie people. Thank your reading my seed 😀
China is a huge country, so blocking major social sites from billions of Chinese people is suspicious. Why is the government trying to hide China? What has China done to deserve this? This doesn’t make sense to me, so I think I need to go into deeper research. This subject is something that is confusing but also helpful. It is confusing because China hasn’t really revealed why they are blocking Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and the most known Internet search engine Google. NewsFlash! – China the most private country in the world! Is that what China wants? To become private? Well, now you’ve gone international from apparently trying to make yourself private.
It is helpful, because it will make China more healthier and more active. But now they wont know alot about communication and Internet sites.
China deserves to have more of a say and should be able to speak their minds. They now don’t have the most used sites in the world. What’s next Tumblr? Instagram? It’s ridiculous, and they deserve better. Facebook, I understand why not, but Google? That’s a search engine! Twitter? They get to see what is happening with the most famous people! Youtube? You can search up so many thing that could help them, and improve them!
I had more than one opinion so here they:
#1,In my opinion M.S.N should not be blocked because, if I was to go to China I wouldn’t be able to talk to my family.
In my opinion they should keep Facebook and Twitter blocked but unblock YouTube.
In my opinion I agree with blocking Facebook and Twitter but it is an unfair law blocking Google and they cant use YouTube.
I feel sad for tourists in China Because they can’t E-mail homecif they have a E-mail site that can be used in another country but, can’t use in China.
I hope that Google and sites like M.S.N get unblocked soon.
I think they should unblock Google because it is only a search engine.
I think they are going to keep Google and the other sites blocked for a long time.
I wonder why they blocked Google and YouTube.
I wonder why they blocked so many websites.
I wonder if they are going to block any other sites or, unblock some of the sites soon.
