Hockey Superstars

On Thursday the 26th July 10 students from the Senior Unit bussed to Warragul to take on St Pauls College in the Regional Hockey Championship. With no formal training, extensive Hockey knowledge developed though Mrs Joyce (Not) and a whole heap of enthusiasm the team headed off.

Officially at 3.02pm Mrs Joyce was advised the team had won. Disappointed she couldn’t be their she jumped with joy. Suddenly the team began to flood in to the Senior Unit Gallery and the pride they showed wearing their medals was worth a million dollars. The team will now head to Melbourne compete in the state championships in Melbourne. This is so amazing for our school and the students. Take a look for yourself and see how proud some of the players are. In the photo Corey and Scott are from 5/6J. Talia and Jaymes also competed. Congratulations to all the competitors.

  1. Well done to Liddiard Rd’s Hockey team for winning the Hockey Championships down in Warragul. We all are looking forward to seeing how you all go in Melbourne. I know it’s a big ask, but see if you can win that too. 🙂
